FEB 23 - The Business of Cannabis Mini Summit – Brooklyn, NY

This event will bring national, regional and local expert speakers from medical clinicians, grassroots health organizers to elected officials, attorneys and cannabis/hemp entrepreneurs together for a day of panel discussions and workshop experiences bringing the education and information to the community. These leaders in the industry will address how to invest in and launch a cannabis/hemp business, laws governing the cannabis/hemp industry and the role cannabis/hemp in self-care and community wellness and more.

The conference aims to amplify and help fix what is a clear problem: Too few people of color are critically involved in what is, by turns, a growing and profitable cannabis/hemp marketplace and a healthcare sector struggling to ensure that patients of color are served by culturally competent cannabis/hemp vendors.

Date & Time: Saturday, February 23, 2019 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Location: Emmanuel Baptist Church 279 Lafayette Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11238
